Excellent receiver. I read a review on this receiver and it was good and I decided to get it. Does not disappoint at all. Super transitition thru all formats. Like the local integration with Directv (One menu).

Highly recommend.

I'm finally happy!

I have experienced the RCA DTC100, The Samsung OTA (150?), The Pannasonic TU-hds20 and was happy with all-picturewise.The set-up on the Panasonic was brutal, the ergonomics on the RCA was horrible... going from HD to SD sent my Panasonic tv into fits- that transcanner was probably the cause. Now for the HUGHES... great picture, fantastic program guide, fantastic menus-everything is intuitive, good looking and easy. the program guide integrates all channels,no matter where they come from. I never thought I'd see the day I was totally happy with a HDTV tuner. Now if only it had a recordable hard drive!!!
