VOOM: A High-Definition Oriented Satellite provider. VOOM is a great new satellite company focused on bringing High Definition content to consumers. VOOM is currently offering more channels in HD than anyone else, including many exclusive channels not found anywhere else. More VOOM Information
		DirecTV: This satellite company is offering HBO-HD, HDNet and high definition Pay Per View. You can get HD content from DirecTV if you have a HDTV set with a built-in DirecTV receiver, or if you have a High Definition TV that is connected to a DirecTV set-top box. You will also need an 18" x 24" oval DirecTV dish to receive these signals as well. More DirecTV Information
		Dish Network: Is providing HBO, Showtime and PPV in high definition right now. You may or may not qualify for their high definition CBS feed, depending on where you live and if you meet their requirements. You can get these channels if you get a second satellite dish pointed at the 61.5 or 148 satellite location and if you have a IRD HD Receiver Model 6000 dish. 		ExpressVu: This is a Canadian satellite company with quite a few HDTV channels currently running. They currently offer both east and west coast feeds of CBS and ABC, with PBS occasionally. If you live in the United States you will need to buy this service from an address broker such as Freeway Support because it is illegal in Canada to knowingly sell DBS services to residents of the US. However, from what we understand, it is not illegal to receive Canadian DBS signals if you reside in the US. More ExpressVu Information
		Star Choice: With this satellite company you get one channel that splits CBS primetime programming, PBS, ABC, NBC, TMN/MC (movie channels), special sporting events and so on. This is a Canadian owned satellite company as well. More Star Choice Information
		C/KU Band: With C/Ku band you can receive signals directly from their original sources. There are currently six HDTV channels broadcast over this medium including two HBO, two Showtime, HD PBS and Discovery HD Teater. More C/KU Information
